Let's face it - scammers are EVERYWHERE - always have been and always will be.
Identifying escort scammers adds another element to the issue again. At Langtrees.com, we are all for ‘calling them out’—it's downright bad for business and detrimental to honest escorts and agencies. I asked Mrs Langtrees, who has 45 years of experience, and she said about 20% of escorts are scammers, and 80% are True Blue, but you must remember that is the same percentage as dentists.
I recently read a story on the Talkin' Sex Forum of a guy who shared his disastrous encounter with what was supposed to be a double escort booking.
This article delves into the issue of escorts who take money without providing services, shedding light on the warning signs and offering advice to protect yourself.
Langtrees.com has had two clients who have been badly scammed. The last one was an attractive Adelaide escort. When she arrived at the clients home, she told the client he must pay her so she could give the driver the fee. She then jumped in the van with the clients $600, and drove away.
The first one was last Christmas, an escort in Melbourne. The client transferred $1,000 into her account; she said she was on her way, but he never saw her or had contact with her again.
What Do We Do? Our policy is to pause the escort profile, and we try to phone her first, then SMS, and then we must sort out a complaint. If we receive no reply, we try a third time by email. If no contact is made, we delete the advertiser's profile and add a warning to her account.
Now we have this blog, we can then add her email address and phone number to this BLOG, and like some sites have ugly mug lists, in time, we will be able to create an escort scammers list for members only; this will only be available to members that have clicked a favourite blog and made a review, one private message & one comment on BLOGS.
Shortly, we will have four member categories - General, BLOGS ONLY, GOLD and CLUB 100 members. Club 100 can only be added by Mrs Langtrees manually, as these are for escorts and members from Talkin Sex who have helped her get Langtrees.com off the ground. Members will automatically go to Gold when logged into their account 100 times and have done at least 10 interactions like favourites, reviews and blog comments.
Also, I have a question: Should I add Statistics to their membership? Would this offend the members? I look to feedback on this question?
Mrs. Langtrees
Look, mate, we all get it—companionship is a universal need, and hiring an escort can be a discreet way to scratch that itch. But not everyone’s playing fair dinkum in the game. A small handful of dodgy operators advertise the dream but leg it with your cash quicker than you can say, “Hang on a sec.” Not only does this rip you off, but it also gives the whole industry a bad rap, leaving honest clients high, dry, and frustrated.
If you’re thinking of booking an escort, keep your eyes peeled for these warning signs:
If you’ve been scammed, don’t beat yourself up—it happens to the best of us. Here’s how to handle it:
Let’s keep your wallet safe and your dignity intact. Follow these tips:
Hiring an escort can be a top-notch experience, but don’t let the dodgy operators ruin it for you. Stay sharp, look for the warning signs, and remember: scammers thrive on desperation and blind trust. If you play it smart, you’ll be laughing—and enjoying the time you paid for.
At the end of the day, treat it like a trip to the pub—go in with your wits about you, know what you’re paying for, and make sure you leave satisfied. Cheers to staying safe and having a bloody good time!
