Born an army brat in New Zealand “Magnum” now lives in Perth Western Australia from where he creates his rollicking crime/adventure series following the life of his fictional son Bill Peters. All authors talk the talk but Magnum as he is known by his Nedlands RUFC rugby mates and Langtrees Blog readers has also walked the walk. 

He has worked as a pig, a demon, a screw and a private dick. He joined the NZ police at the age of 18 and worked as a police officer and as a detective on the busy streets of South Auckland "Once were Warriors" territory, for ten years. Moving to sunny Perth Western Australia he has worked as Private Eye for over 30 years and also went to prison for 2 years...(as an officer) when he had to get a real job for a while. He has also worked as a "FIFO" a fly-in-fly-out worker at remote WA iron ore mines. He has seen it, experienced it, tasted it, and now he collects his Blog earnings and writes his crime/adventure series.
