Forget stiff handshakes and small talk, this is your chance to sit down with the man who’s seen it all, done most of it, and still knows how to keep a secret.
The owner of one of Australia’s most talked-about establishments is opening his doors for something a little different over the months of November & December. You can choose between 15-minute personal tour with a drink of your choice, or a dinner where the food’s good, but the conversation’s even better.
Here’s what you’ll get:
A candid chat about the industry, the people, and what really goes on when the lights go down.
A chance to ask the questions most are too shy to say out loud.
A few lessons in business, boldness, and how to stay calm when things get interesting.
💰 Rate: $500 per guest for dinner get-togethers or $100 for a 15-minuite personal tour of the building
🥂 Includes: Dinner with the owner or a 15-minute private tour and drink of your choice
Seats (and stories) are limited, and trust us, this is one meeting you’ll be talking about for a while. Reach out today to express your interest and we'll arrange a time and day.
A bit about the owner;
I’m Mary-Anne’s nephew, the cheeky one who thinks he knows better (and sometimes actually does). I started working for her about fifteen years ago, long before I knew where life would take me.
Flying’s always been my passion. I’ve travelled to more than fifty countries, earned my commercial pilot’s licence, and eventually returned to Canberra to work with Mary-Anne again. I ran the business for about ten years, and now I own and manage Langtrees of Canberra.
I don’t fly as much these days, but I love getting back in the cockpit when I can. When I’m in Perth, you’ll usually find me annoying Mary-Anne, arguing (in good fun), pushing her buttons, and betting a dollar on who’s right. She wins almost every time. (I still don’t know why she doesn’t bet more, she’d be rich by now.)
We’ve shared some incredible travels too. New Zealand was unforgettable, cooking chilli mussels together, exploring the Coromandels with her late mum, and relaxing on those perfect beaches. Then there was India, helping her set up an office, build a team, and dive into the chaos, colour, and curry of it all. We even rewarded ourselves with a stay at the Ritz-Carlton in Singapore afterward.
More recently, I joined her in New Zealand again to visit her sister’s stunning coastal farm. It was peaceful, full of family, and I’m still hoping for another invite.
One day, when she finally builds that house on Dirk Hartog Island, I’m hoping she’ll buy a plane so I can fly her there instead of the seven-hour drive. It’ll only take two and a half hours by air, though I’ll probably need to fit a parachute, because if she thinks my driving’s fast, wait till she experiences my flying.
